 I have just published two new web albums on the Photo Dharma website that I took recently at nearby Chinese temples. They were taken to try out my new camera which is advertised as being especially useful in low light conditions.

 While I was in Wat Olak Madu I took numerous photographs of some of the modern artworks that are found in the Preaching Hall and Sima Hall, which has resulted in two new albums for the Photo Dharma website.

 At the end of March two good friends teamed up together for the first time and got me over to Kelantan in north-eastern Malaysia to photograph the old Thai temples there. The result is 5 new albums for the Photo Dharma website.

 We published 1,700 copies of the book at the time. Now this year, the original publisher of The Gentle Way, Inward Path in Penang, have reprinted the work again, this time in a print-run of 1,000 copies.

 The puja that day was the Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva Pūjā. Kṣitigarbha is believed to look after the dead and visits the lower regions in order to save living beings. Indeed he has made a vow not to attain Nirvana until the hells are empty.

 This is a collection of photographs from the Moral Uplifting Society in Bukit Mertajam. The Society is ecumenicist in outlook, and there are pictures of Confucius, Buddha, Lao-Tze, Jesus and Mohammad hung over the main shrine.

 One of my all time heroes on the spiritual scene is the Vietnamese peace-activist and teacher Thich Nhat Hanh. In 2008 I traveled with a small group to Bangkok to attend some of his talks, and he was even more impressive than I had imagined, so mindful and still.
